Bio:

John's professional pursuits have been in the field of mass spectrometry, an important branch of analytical chemistry.   Since his youth, John has been an active photographer,  learning to improve exposure and composition as he produced prints in the darkroom from the 1970's through the 1990's.   Working with a wide span of camera types and formats over many decades, John now focuses mostly on work he produces  with Leica M lenses and Leica M240 and SL2-S cameras.  As a scientist, John knows how to unite theory and practice.  He now uses these same skills to bring together technical and practical photographic principles to find beauty in the light that surrounds us.
